Small forest tour/information round. Drove with brother and relatives to Pitscheid/Hümmel to get to know the Final Forest. Quiet, quaint, natural. Great concept. We were all impressed by the presentation and are thinking about it.

Went to Blankenheim with a friend. Nice little loop around the Schwanenweiher, to the castle (now DJH) and through the beautiful old town. There was a lot to discover and browse in the small shops, e.g. in "Krims-Krams"
And more. St. Mariä-Himmelfahrt Church unfortunately no photos inside due to renovation

The tour, which I have walked often and gladly, was very strenuous today. Lots of green and almost only shade but clearly more oppressive than expected, plus many muddy paths. Took photos so often and many times, so I skipped it today.🥵

Eipringhauser Felder/ Eifgenbach
Runde ab Finkenholl. Erstmal an der Straße entlang, ist nicht schön aber recht schnell ging es aufwärts auf einem Wanderweg gefolgt von Holzstufen, Wurzelpfade, Wald und Wiesenwege mit tollen Aussichten auf die Landschaft, auf Wermelskirchen u. ins Eifgenbachtal. Ein Weg zur Brücke am Wickhauser Bergbach versperrt, mussten am Hang runter…

The hiking bus (267) probably changes its route annually. The stop "Straußenfarm" Emminghausen, as well as through the new bridge also "Neue Mühle" on the K15, then newly added were "Finkenholl" and "Eipringhausen" before it continues from there to "Eifgen". Spaziergang
Ein wenig herumbummeln über Zanders Gleispark u. dem wieder zugänglichen Büstenpark. Dort ist nun auch der Bauzaun bei Carl Richard endlich weg. Weiter kurz bei Rewe rein, an der Villa Zanders mit einer Bekannten geplaudert über Forumspark und Rosengarten nach Hause.

Besorgungsrunde
Ein wenig einkaufen u. Sportwachs gesucht, nur beim Schuster fündig geworden. Schön, dass der Springbrunnen im Rosengarten endlich wieder funktioniert. ( Pumpe lange defekt) Die Rosen, gerade mal erblüht leiden sie schon unter der Hitze. Eis gab's natürlich auch wieder🌸🍨🌞

Dab./Lüdorf- Bergisch Gladbach
Entlang der Linnefe. Viel Wald, kleine Bäche, schöne Pfade steil auf und ab. An der Furt beim Steintor nasse Schuhe und Socken geholt( hatte es unterschätzt) Trocknungsversuch, mußte aber weiter. Many paths were still quite damp. Partially wet, a bit muddier with puddles. At the Dhünntalsperre, there was no visibility due to the vegetation, but nevertheless a very nice tour with relatively little asphalt/side streets in proportion. In the end, I got to meet @Stefan D (aka "Boedi") 🙃🍀 personally

After the return journey, went out at Kaufland and across the Zanders area. In front of the Postillon, a band was playing whose rocky sound I listened to for a while and then went home. Didn't walk much but a long day with family members.
