Rock formation near Ploumanac'h

Highlight • Natural Monument

A very well-maintained hiking trail leads through the pink granite cliffs of Ploumanach’h. They are over 300 million years old and cover an area of 25 hectares. Great.

Along the pink granite coast

The Rose Granite Coast of Brittany is truly beautiful, a walking paradise in Plouganace, Tregastel and Perrros -Guirec. Please note that you occasionally have to climb over the rocks. We would like to praise Komoot without the app we would never have reached such beautiful places. Whether it is Germany, Austria, Italy or France, Komoot surprises us every time with beautiful walks.

View of Sainte-Anne Bay

Highlight • Lake

Absolute highlight of the view to Saint-Guirec and on the Zöllnerpfad when the sea of water turns into a sea of stones and the red stones begin to shine in the evening sun. One thinks one could walk over the bay to Saint-Guirec, if there were not the channel of the ships, which pulls like a blue ribbon through the stones. soul food

Customs Trail

Highlight (Segment) • Other

No trekking poles are required for the tour, and some are even explicitly forbidden. There are only a few shady sections, so take good care of the sun. We did the tour shortly after the low tide started. Then you have more water on the way between the rocks and in the bays. We liked this better than on the way back, as the sea had already made very scarce.
In Perros-Guirec and a few other places along the Sentier there is plenty of parking.

This morning we took the bus to Perros-Guirec and then hiked along the coast back to the car. The views of and from the rocks are gigantic, we specifically planned the tour so that we would have high tide during the most interesting part. Strangely, we weren't alone😂, but it was still beautiful, it didn't detract from the tour.

Mega beautiful views, at this time the route is very busy because there are holidays in France. There aren't that many places to stop for refreshments. But in Trestraou there are several possibilities.

The Pink Granite Coast in Brittany...

The famous Pink Granite Coast "Côte de Granit Rose" is part of the north coast of Brittany near Lannion. It is one of Brittany's most impressive sights. Rock formations of ancient granite rock transform the coast into an unreal landscape full of objects that seem to come from a world where the laws of …

Anyone who travels from Trestraou by bus to the start in Tregastel as in the Rother hiking guide (Tour 16) must note the departure times: Monday/Wednesday/Friday with the small bus La Macareux from about 10 a.m. every hour or only about 12:30 p.m. with the larger bus (daily), as of 07/24

Last hike for me in Brittany. Finally, a coastal tour on the Côte de Granit Rose, from the foothills of Tregastel to beyond Ploumanac'h. What can I say: If I hadn't stopped every two meters to take photos, my km/h would probably be a bit higher. There are these monumental rocks and rock towers everywhere that you can hardly get …

What a lovely hike. If you love more start already futuer back. On the way there are little food trucks in case you are hungry. Due to the wind. Bring enough water woth you 🥰
Unfortunately, we forgot to restart about twice. That's why we were able to walk on water.
