Very nice and varied tour around the Mummelsee and through the high moor of the Hornisgrinde. I personally liked the great information boards that explain the vegetation and wildlife in the bog. The path was e.g. Sometimes quite demanding - good shoes, sure-footedness and possibly hiking poles are recommended. The panoramic view from the Bismarck Tower is great - don't miss it! Conclusion: short tour with many highlights!

A very nice round trip with many natural highlights. If you follow the running direction, the tour starts comfortably and picturesquely, always slightly uphill along the Sankenbach to the Sankenbachsee. It is worth staying and swimming here - the water is wonderful! We continue halfway around the lake and then steeply uphill to the Sankenbach waterfall, which is certainly impressive when it carries more water. From here it becomes wildly romantic, across the forest, steeply uphill on winding paths through fern and undergrowth. After the waterfalls at the latest, things get quieter. If you met many people before, only a few hikers are now on the way. Small passages lead across wider forest paths, but again and again you turn into narrow natural paths that require some sure-footedness. A walking stick is highly recommended. A long nature trail then goes downhill to almost down into the valley.

This is a very nice circular route. I got on the harp mill, near Mörschied. The first few meters are over the campsite there. Then through beautiful, shady forest. After about 2.5 km you come out of the forest on a tar path. Keep right here. Walk the tarmac path to its end and then left along the paddock. At the end of the paddock, the path continues straight into the forest. At this point there is no signpost, so I will describe it for you. The route is otherwise well signposted. However, it is always advisable to look left and right for the labels. Sometimes they are a little hidden. The route is given as 15 km. At it was looking for more.
Very varied and beautiful wide views.

A wonderful route with a lot of beautiful views. Almost everything forest paths and under trees. We started at the portal in Niederhausen. There is parking at the old train station. Just run after😁👍🏻
Of course I don't say anything about the secrets to be discovered ........ 😛
      Have a look yourself 😁😉

A very nice route ..... with many kilometers of soft forest floor. But there are also rocky sections! A great mix ...
