The Elbe cycle path is clean again and easy to ride. However, the passage on the right bank of the Elbe under the old town bridge in Meißen is still flooded.

Start is directly at the free car park in Merschwitz, there are always free spaces, in contrast to the paid car park at the castle in Seusslitz (usually full). You are happy to accept the additional 6 km (there + back).
Please note the ferry ride on the return trip (Niederlommatzsch-Seußlitz). Otherwise a wonderful tour with the highlight Meissen.

The Elbe cycle path is really beautiful. Take the ferry to the other side.
You can find lots of beautiful tours in this region on Komoot, but you spend a lot of time on the road. There are hardly any other cycle paths apart from the Elbe cycle path. It's a shame - we avoid the road if possible.
