Great little hidden road between Coulsdon and Chipstead.
It’s a nice climb, average 5%. Just watch out for a cars as it is narrow and a bit dark as it’s under the trees.

June 16, 2024,London to Brighton
A Ride with friends for the Bhf charity. Weather was great and the ride is extremely well organised with marshal's and partial road closures in places to help with the huge amount of riders in the 1000s. Getting out of London was a bit hectic but once done a lovely route to the coast and magnificent views over the south …
June 18, 2023,BHF - L2B 2023
Rear tyre puncture @ mile 10, repaired but had further issues during the ride. 25 miles no motor, dragging a 25kg bike before using the motor for the second half. Sunny to start and very wet to finish.
London to Brighton bike ride on a BMX . . . Not Recommended.

First time was last year with Skyline events. This year with BHF.

The difference this year - I cycled the whole thing including Ditching Beacon. Down side, someone forgot to turn the plug on the charger when plugged the charger cable to the phone.
