The river landscape between Wittenberge has changed a lot because of the low water level. The water seems to stand still, not flow. Sand banks everywhere. Ponds dry up. I leave the Elbe at the GDR border tower in Lenzen.

This route went from Wittenberge via Lenzen to Perleberg. The first half to Lenzen was easy on the Elbe Cycle Path 🤩 Weather was great too. The second. Half went over mostly forest and dirt roads with rain ☔️ shortly before Perleberg the weather got better.
