1. The Asian bush mosquito (Aedes japonicus)
This species has been spreading massively in northern Germany for several years.
Appearance: It is deep black with white stripes (which are barely visible in flight) and noticeably larger and more robust than our common native mosquito.

90 minutes break under a bridge with other desperate people. It was a real downpour and everything was muddy, - bikes, clothes, people..... I'll have to soak the bike completely tomorrow evening. By the way: this was supposed to be a modified version of the ADFC's "Nature& Survival" tour. Only the rain got in between

Nach 4 Wochen immer noch grüner Schleim im Husten

A small note for those who want to retrace the route: The tour is really beautiful, however, Komoot once again led us astray during planning, i.e., onto paths that didn't exist when we rode it. For example, one would have had to struggle endlessly across a freshly plowed field. This resulted in a kilometer-long detour.
