Technically easy tour, but a feast for the eyes and the palate is guaranteed. It is best to do these tours during the week and outside of the holidays as part of the route goes directly along the tourist-heavy Eibsee. Nevertheless, it is absolutely recommended. We were lucky with the weather and had the best view of the mountain panorama …

Great tour. Great to deal with with the e-bike. Without support, it would actually only be what trained very well. The descent on the slopes is tough. All in all fantastic.

Finally back in Garmisch. We set off by car from Munich at 6:00 a.m. Start at 7:30 a.m. at the Alpspitz valley station. We head towards Eibsee and up to almost 1420 meters and enjoy the wonderful panorama and then back to Garmisch 😌Happy weekend🚵‍♂️

The tour is basically technically easy and has no steep ramps. This is of course reflected in the length of the tour. The landscape is gigantic. Both the Eibsee and the Zugspitze can be seen from different perspectives. I was at Eibsee at 10:30 a.m., but it was already overcrowded. There is only one steep scree section of perhaps 70 …

Today we did a fantastic hike from Grainau via Lake Eibsee to the Hochthörlehütte at 1570m. The weather was fantastic, but at Lake Eibsee it was a real nightmare.

Photos are from different tours in different seasons!
Altitude meter correct 1570m, Komoot incorrectly states too much here...
625 battery recommended, but "battery saving" is advisable...

Between sleet and early summer, there are exactly 4 days this May. We are setting off on a tour that is both challenging and outstanding. The Hochthörle are our goal for the day, which we absolutely must combine with a detour to the Eibsee.
