After the signpost to Pico de la Zazar, a mountain path leads up to the summit. Here the path changes from a wide, developed path to a mountain trail. You should wear proper shoes and also be sure-footed.

Wonderful tour on Fuerteventura's highest mountain, Pico de la Zarza (807 m). I've been to the summit twice, the last time at the end of May. There is more information and pictures on my blog: sport-tours-travels.de/wandern-auf-den-pico-de-la-zarza-den-hoechsten-berg-fuerteventuras

A strenuous hike, but worth seeing. Bring at least 2.5 liters of water. No shade. Great views of Cofete and Villa Winter.

What can I say? For an untrained 100 plus kilo man - oh, let's be honest: 130 kilos - the tour was actually too difficult. But I made it. Next time I'll take half a liter more water with me.
For everyone else who is a bit more experienced, a worthwhile tour with a gigantic view. It was somewhat clouded …
