neanderland.de/tour/etappe-02-wuelfrath-duessel-velbert

"Easy to moderately difficult stage with some steep climbs. It goes up and down through the region, which is characterized by limestone construction, past the source of the Düssel, to the former Hardenberg Castle and to the impressive Mariendom.

The second stage continues where the first left off. Beautiful paths offer a unique experience of nature. In the foothills of the Bergisches Land, you will be challenged again and again by slight climbs, at the end two sightseeing highlights await the hiker with the Neviges Cathedral and the old town. Overall, the same applies to this stage: thumbs up.

— Slowly, leaf by leaf
is falling off the colorful trees. Every path is densely covered with plants and it rustles when you walk... (author unknown) —

That's exactly how we experienced the second stage. Rich in forest, up and down; and incredibly entertaining. Added to that is the fun leaf-gathering hike. …
