The valley of the Little Dhron is worth a trip or a gravel bike tour, especially on hot summer days. Anyone who rolls along the tributary of the Moselle not only discovers the rustic nature of the Rockenburg jungle but also the so-called Wacken along the way. Wacken is the name given to the numerous bizarre rock formations that can be admired in the valley of the small Dhron.

Not so easy to reach with a “normal” bike. Easily accessible by mountain bike. Komoot led us a little astray and we had to try a few things until we found a path that was relatively easy to ride.

Shortly before the end of the Traumschleife, or if you come from the other side, at the end of the barefoot path, is the refreshing water treading pool. A blessing for the feet.
