The castle park is particularly attractive in spring. Every year in March/April, over four million crocuses illuminate Husum's castle park. The landscaped garden surrounding the only castle on Schleswig-Holstein's North Sea coast is transformed into a unique sea of purple blossoms. The castle park is very nice with its unique view of the castle and the old water tower. But the best is in March when the crocuses bloom and the castle park shines in a beautiful purple. You must have seen that.
