The house was originally part of the farmstead at Alte Burgstraße 1 and was built around the middle of the 18th century. The rounded shape of the oven, topped with a lean-to roof, is clearly visible on the rear gable end. The interior, including the oven and forge, is essentially unchanged. The parish church of St. Nicholas was built in 1877-78. The high altar from the 17th century is particularly worth seeing.
