Power plant located downstream of the pre-existing Bertini hydroelectric power plant. It was dedicated to the memory of Carlo Esterle, managing director of the Edison company until 1918. Particularly cared for on an architectural and aesthetic level.

Small Sanctuary in the area of Leonardo's Adda Ecomuseum, part of the path of Sant'Agostino. If desired, the church and the rooms below can be visited but only on request. The area is very fascinating and rich in history.

The Madonna della Rocchetta Sanctuary is located in the Adda Nord Regional Park, in the Adda Ecomuseum section of Leonardo, in the municipality of Paderno d'Adda. Accessible from Cornate d'Adda or on foot from the cycle/pedestrian path along the Adda.

Built in 1386 by the Milanese doctor Beltrando da Cornate on the ruins of an ancient Roman castrum from the 5th century AD, it offers a breathtaking panoramic position over the Adda.

It was the second power station in the world after Niagara Falls, that's remarkable.
