Dos Le Grave (or Doss de le Grave) is one of the most interesting natural areas in the Argentario Ecomuseum, in the Monte Calisio area. It features an important biotope that displays two extremely different environmental typologies: a wetland and an arid zone, located respectively at the foot and on the western flank of Dos. A characteristic of this small, semi-desert-like elevation is the striking presence of bonsai-like Scots pines growing on waste material from silver mining (an activity that affected the entire plateau from the 11th to the 15th century). The arid portion is in immediate contact with the wetland below. This peat bog was formed by the filling of a small lake basin. Small bodies of open water still remain from this basin.

The 'lime kilns' are impressive historical constructions. They were built in semi-cylindrical pits with funnel-shaped towers and built with carefully carved limestone. During the manufacturing process, the oven was divided into two levels, the door was walled up with refractory bricks, and the filling was done with stepped limestones. During the burning process, fagots were inserted through a mouth hole and the ashes were periodically removed. A lime kiln could produce an average of 250 quintals of slaked lime per year, with 1 quintal of wood needed for 1 quintal of lime. This artisanal method was of great importance to the local community and found diverse uses, from mortar making to disinfection.

10月 19, 2023, Austro-Hungarian Rifle Bunker (1915)
This bunker, located at an altitude of 715 meters above sea level, was built in 1915 and restored in 2006. It was part of the extensive fortifications around Trent that were built during the First World War. It apparently served to secure the road leading to the mountain summit.
