Beautiful idyllic rest area by the lake.

Don't follow default route planning! It seems it's not possible to cross the Noce on a bike without going through the tunnel (which Carabinieri said is not ok). If you're heading towards Cunevo then take a road via Denno: scenic and similar eta.

You are in front of a 23rd century castle, historically belonging to the noble family of the same name. The structure is surrounded by a complex system of fortifications, stands dominant on the hill and can now be visited as it is owned by the Province of Trento. There is a coffee shop on site.

This is the ford in the boulders of the Rinassico stream. From here begins the Valle di San Pietro.

Here you will find the ruins of Castel San Pietro, once belonging to the Thun family. The remains of this medieval tower are located on a natural terrace that offers a spectacular view of the northern Brenta Group and the lower Val di Non.

You find yourself in front of a small trattoria specializing in Emilian dishes - a highly recommended gastronomic stop.

Panoramic view from the south-east terrace. From this observation point you can enjoy an immense view of the Piana Rotaliana and the Adige Valley.

Panoramic view from the north-west terrace. From here you can see the whole of the Non Valley from the Maddalene to the Brenta Dolomites and the Paganella plateau.
