A nice place to stop to enjoy an excellent view of the Twin Lakes.

It requires a little more effort and a detour from the usual twin lakes loop route, but why not?

Small stream that crosses the path. Useful for cooling off, quenching your thirst and filling your water bottles.

Beautiful artificial lakes (originally, before the construction of the dam, there were two lakes and of much smaller dimensions, then as the water level rose they joined) set in a basin that offers spectacular views and landscapes. The path that goes all around the lake is very beautiful. The vegetation is mostly herbaceous and shrubby, with the presence of sporadic larches. Wonderful in all seasons, but autumn for the play of colors and winter for snowshoeing are definitely the two most suitable.

Pass reachable by climbing from the Gemelli Lakes or from Valcanale. The trail does not present technical difficulties but requires a minimum of physical training. The effort is then rewarded by the wonderful view it offers, in particular of the Arera group, Pizzo Farno and Monte Corte, and obviously of the lake. The pass is very wide and offers several places to stop to rest, eat and admire the landscape. The trail then continues towards the Gemelli Lakes, or towards the Mezzeno pass

Very renowned refuge that serves as a reference to the now very famous lake of the same name. Starting point for various excursions to the nearby peaks and various paths connecting to other places in the Orobie.
