Hiking
The renewed Hippodrome serves above all the sport activity. A running track of 820 meters in length and a fixed track for skaters in stadium form the outer ring. Oak trees now line the course instead of the historic linden plantation. In the center is, following the example of ancient stadiums, a lower lying meadow area. There are also playing fields with sand, on which the junior beach volleyball trains. Next to this area is a block-like climbing rock.

Hiking
Nice large open space in the middle of the Volkspark Friedrichshain. Sunbathing lawn, ball games, anything is possible. There are even a few beach volleyball fields.
