Haus Morp is a name that is used for several buildings in Erkrath - to which Morp has belonged since 1929. If so, then the name Haus Morp should be used for the Morp manor. Large parts of Morp are landscape and nature reserves. The Düsseldorfer Straße crosses this area on the west-east axis, the Mauspfad, a trade route that has existed since pre-Christian times, on the north-south axis. To the north it is bordered by the tracks of the Rhenish Railway and to the south by those of the Bergisch-Märkische Railway.
