Interesting catholic church (probably originated in 1234). It is worth to take a look at this beautiful church.

Beautiful in the heart of Billerbeck, if possible also take a look from the inside

Very beautiful and a historical place. The existing building was probably built in 1234.

Beautiful Gothic collegiate church with a Romanesque tower. Magnificent ensemble of canons' cottages around the church.

The Catholic parish church of St. John the Baptist in Billerbeck was probably built as a single-nave church in the 8th century. The parish church was built to strengthen the diocese of Münster. It is to be seen in connection with the other episcopal chaplaincies of Beckum, Stadtlohn and Warendorf, as they all had a canon each. On March 26, 809, on the day of his death, St. Liudger held his last holy mass in what was then the Billerbeck church.

It's just a church, nothing more - nothing less
