Built between 1671 and 1676 by Liberal Bruant, and later by Jules Hardouin-Mansart and Robert de Cotte, it is now one of the most prestigious monuments in Paris. The Hôtel des Invalides was originally a home for war-injured, disabled soldiers commissioned by King Louis XIV between 1670 and 1676. Today it houses several museums. If you're a little interested in history, it's worth a visit. Take a look on the Internet, on the first Sunday of the month there are always free entries to Paris museums
