View of Teide and Montaña Blanca

Spectacular view of the dramatic desert landscape around the summit of Teide. Directly in front of you is the Montaña Blanca, a side summit of the Teide.

Flat peak on the eastern flank of the Pico del Teide with a height of 2,748 meters at the edge of the Las Cañadas basin. The Montaña Blanca is the third highest peak in Tenerife.

Very good and easy, well marked double trail around and up the Montagna Blanka. Please make sure you bring enough water. There are no water sources till Refugio Altavista, where you can refill from automat for a good amount of coins.
