On the way, at the Lühe from Horneburg to the Elbe, you will pass many renovated fruit farms. Not only in the Guderhandviertel do the old farmhouses bear witness to the wealth and pride of the old fruit growers.

The name Guderhandviertel was first mentioned in 1524: In Ghuderhandeverneil. From the late Middle Ages, the division of the large settlement Lu (also to the Lu and bi Lu) in four quarters has been handed down. There were three church districts (Im Kerckverneil): Steinkirchen, Mittelkirchen and Neuenkirchen and a quarter without church, the Guderhandviertel. The origin of the name remains unclear. Here are two theories:The Guderhandviertel lies - from Steinkirchen from view - to the good right hand or
the settlement is entrusted to the good hand of God - without a church and pastor.

These beautiful fruit farms are something very special that I've never seen in a way where. One more beautiful than the other and with explanatory labeling, beautiful!

Who wants to make a holiday with the caravan here in the region does not pass the CP Nesshof, located in the middle of the district (camping properly furnished, to stay it is enough, I miss a bit of attention to detail) start and finish many tours from here out possible
