Nice route, but only one-way (up); beginners can use VF kit, but it's not needed unless very wet...

The beautiful Alpbachschlucht; be careful as this route hardly consists of real stairs and the precipices are very high. Not recommended if it has been raining as the rocks get very slippery. You will be treated however to some stunning views on the waterfall and the city of Meiringen below.
