The building was destroyed inside in a mysterious attack (March 20, 1954). After restoration from 1992 to 1997, the town hall was restored to its former beauty, and the painting in the plenary hall was also reconstructed.

As today's town hall was built in 1905 in the Art Nouveau style, with parts of the previous building such as medieval court arbor and the cellar was included.
