Mountaineering
The summit of the Breitenstein is about 1.3 kilometers south of the Geigelstein (1808 m). Like this one, it is located between the Prien valley in the west and the Tiroler Ache in the east.

A nice tour is crossing a double summit: from the Priener Hütte first over the Geigelstein, there an exciting descent to the Breitenstein, and from there back to the Priener Hütte or over the Wuhrsteinalm into the Achental.
