From the Hallturm car park, the path leads over the Fadererschneit to the spring at Hirschangerkopf. After a short break on a viewing bench and after I had drunk my fill at the spring like a camel, we went through the high plateau to the Mitterberg. In the heat, this was not an easy task.

I cycled from Erlstätt via Siegsdorf, Inzell and Weißbach to Thumsee to swim there. This lake is currently still good for a cooling off. I was glad to have cycled, because the parking problems – cars parked crookedly etc. – are frightening.

Today I cycled from Erlstätt to Traunstein main train station and from there continued by train to Rosenheim. Here I first rode along the Mangfall – spotted some Romans – up to the confluence with the Inn.

From Erlstätt, the route by bike first follows the Chiemseeradweg to Bernau. From there, it continues via Aschau to Sachrang. Afterwards, it goes over the Erlberg to Erl and down to the Inn. Then I rode along the Inn dam to Happinger See.
