The imposing merchant's house was first documented in 1663. The sandstone bay window is richly decorated, unlike the facade. The corner bay window is supported by three consoles, the middle one adorned with a gilded angel figure. Hence, the building is also called the Angel's Bay House. The center of the round-arched entrance portal is adorned with a lion's head.

Hiking

Continuing along the pedestrian zone into the city center, you can admire the Angel's Bay on the left (built in 1624). This is a sandstone bay window with a gilded angel figure. The house's portal features a lion's head. The spiral staircase inside the house and the window moldings date from the first half of the 16th century. The house developed into a popular wine bar and still is (or is again) today.
