After yesterday's long tour, we wanted to take it easy today.
Right in the early morning, we were able to enjoy a very special breakfast. Then we cycled into Zupthen.
Once through the shops and strolling through the market.
We cycled along the IJssel to Deventer.

Once a year there is the friends weekend. This time we are going to the neighboring country, Holland.
It is beautiful in the Achterhook 😍. We enjoy the path with lots of car-free paths and avenues.
In between, beautiful manor houses keep appearing.

Auf der Suche nach dem Weltmeister Pokal
Eine fast autofreie Radrunde.
Bis Haltern am Kanal entlang.
Be"Jupp der Erlebnisgarten"eingekehrt und eine Erdbeerbowle genossen und natürlich den Pokal bewundert.
Dann weiter zum Hullerner Stausee.
Über den alten Postweg nach Olfen,dort noch ein Eis genossen, und dann über die alte Fahrt wieder Richtung Heimat.

Second part "open gardens".
Together with Ute, we visited five more gardens today. One in Klostern (Datteln) and four more in Seppenrade.
All of them were worthwhile and totally different.
The welcome was warm everywhere.

The Open Gardens weekend, I've marked that in my calendar.
For today, I've chosen a garden in Dortmund. The title "A mine-worker's house garden becomes a nature garden" made me curious.
When I was there, I was all alone. The owner was so nice and gave me a private tour.

Today we again had, as expected, really good weather.

In Harlesiel we had a nice sunny stop.
For the most part, a really nice route.
On the dike, on lonely country roads and old railway tracks.
