A wonderful place for hiking, right next to urban life.
The crown linden, also called, is about 500 years old and is a large-leaved lime.

Worthwhile recovery point after the steep ascent (dashed path) from Lockwitzgrund.

There are 2 benches and more than enough meadow to take a break. The view is also worth seeing.

The 500-year-old linden tree was struck by lightning, but was stabilized in the 1980s with a concrete core and rings. Next to it is a small, new linden tree. From here you also have beautiful views of the surrounding hills and villages.
