The powder tower was built in the 15th century as a two-wing corner tower on the older corner fortification of the medieval city wall from the 13th century.
The tower clock of the tower was built in the 18th century by the Eberbach watchmaker Jakob Braun.
The "Fischerbrunnen" is located in the courtyard of Talheim's house and powder tower.
The large sandstone in the middle is a boulder from the Neckar that was formed by the chain during the time of the chain tugs. A part of this chain was also added as historical decoration.
