History made tangible for young and old.
In addition, in the middle of a playground all fun. Parents and grandparents give you a jolt and climb with or help the love while watering.
In the former terms the visitor can try out replicated shields or solve the maze.
You should take your time "day trip" and food such as water and a bread not forget, at noon you can then in the tavern good food.

Unfortunately, a bike guard is missing!

The archaeological park is “the” highlight in the area, especially the reconstructed harbor temple. On the site of the former Roman city of Colonia Ulpia Traiana, Germany's largest archaeological open-air museum invites you to take a stimulating excursion into history. 🏛

I can only recommend the Roman Festival on 20 & 21 June 2020. Absolute highlight which takes place only every 2-3 years. Hundreds of faithful Roman soldiers, catapults and scorpions in action, craftsmanship. Children may try on Roman armor or operate an antique crane. Glidiator games and much more. There is no more history to touch. I'm looking forward to this appointment.
