Martinstor: The way out of the old town to the south leads over the paradise road through the Martinstor. The name derives from the neighboring parish church. A painting of St. Martin can be seen on the page facing the city center. The Wangener also call the tower Lindauer Tor. On the south-facing side of the gate is a clock in the middle, which gives the visitor to the city center the advice: "Take your time!"
Frauentor: The distinctive completion of Herrenstraße is the Frauentor. When it was built, is not known. It is also called Ravensburger Tor.

The two main gates, popularly called "Lindauer" = Martinstor and "Ravensburger" = Frauentor to the cheeked old town.

Wangen and its old town are always worth a detour due to the ice cream parlors and great restaurants.
