Located directly on the driveway to the visitor mine and on some hiking trails, you have a beautiful view of the Fichtelgebirge, the Franconian Forest and, via Nemmersdorf, the Bindlacher Berg.

On the Vorderen Goldberg is the "Golden View" viewing screen, which was built in 1993. It is provided with directions and distances, even for cities that are far away. The ""Humboldt-Weg"" circular hiking trail runs over the ridge.
