The last complete renovation and re-commissioning dates from 1993/94, shortly after Josef Rettenmaier bought the system. During the floods in 1981, the wooden weir was so badly damaged that it had to be shut down. The current fish-bellied plate weir has three Francis shaft turbines, each with a capacity of 312 kilowatts. The power plant is the most efficient of the power generation plants belonging to the Rettenmaier Group on the Neisse. A fish passage is currently being planned.
