The single trail between Lago Bianco on the Bernina Pass and Forcola di Livigno leaves impressive images in your mind. The view of the highest peaks in the Eastern Alps is overwhelming. In front of you are the Piz Bernina (highest mountain in the Eastern Alps at 4,048 m) and the Piz Palü (3,899 m) with their fascinating glaciers.

In recent years the trail has been continuously optimized without losing its high alpine character. You can drive the path in either direction. A few short passages still require you to push your bike.

In recent years, the number of gravel bikers who have found a good alternative to the pass road has increased on the route.

Sensational high alpine trail from Forcola di Livigno to Lago Bianco in the Bernina Valley. It is more than 95% mobile and offers great views.

Very nice trail which is drivable except for a few sections. Also quite feasible for beginners. The Hammer view is very much to be enjoyed. Not recommended on weekends as many hikers are on the trail.

What a trail! Very demanding for us as eBikers. At one point we had to carry the bikes together over the steep climb. But in the end everything went well and was still fun.

The trail is connected with beautiful views and is really easy to drive, even if the ascent is sometimes exhausting, it is worth it.

From the underground it is an easy trail. It is exposed in a few places. In a few places it is steep enough to push better. But the landscape is a dream. A nice trail to drive. Can also be driven in both directions.

We rode the trail in both directions: from the Forcola Livigno to the Bernina Pass, we often pushed the bike, nice descent to the Bernina Pass. Then in the opposite direction: pushed a few pieces from the Bernina Pass to the highest point and then drove almost everything to Forcola Livigno. From a driving point of view, it is better for us from south (Bernina) to north (Forcola Livigno). However, the landscape is more rewarding from north to south because of the impressive view of the glacier world from Piz Palü and Co.

Very beautiful, but also demanding MTB route from the Bernina Pass to Fuorcola di Livigno. A few steep ramps. Gravel paths and a high proportion of single trails, S1 and S2, partly exposed on the sloping slope.

The trail marking includes ascent and descent. I would like to see who drives here 95%. The descent to the Bernina Pass is completely mobile. In my eyes, however, the driveway might be 50%. This results in a total drivable share of around 75%.
