The meeting point was the AC-Sportpark, then it was decided to conquer the Odenwald via Hemsbach. Coffee and cake were served at the Morgenstern in Siedelsbrunn. The highlight was the descent through the Steinachtal, almost car- and motorbike-free!

My favorite trail from Schlossberg to the old waterworks was significantly narrowed in the upper section due to heavy plant growth. The path at the waterworks has been worked on, making it easier to ride. Especially my crash spot from the year before last is now totally uncritical.

Unfortunately, we ran into this year's asparagus hike behind Lampertheim. The only possible detour via Rosengarten would have been too far, so we pushed through the crowd of visitors. We lost 1.8 km/h on average over 2.2 km.

I actually just wanted to go up to Tromm via my usual route. I changed the route on the way and had to stop often to rummage for my phone to get my bearings. But Cafe´ Bauer was worth the trouble!

I've often been to the Weißen Stein, and always went back and forth on the same routes. Today I wanted to avoid the long asphalt return from Schriesheim.
