On the old railway embankment in 2019 a concrete pavement was poured. The new bike path then leads from the village exit Ballenstedt to Gernrode station. Will probably replace the old R1 on this section. Excellent! The builders mentioned an opening in October 2019. There are only a few construction sites left. I was allowed to test the way already.
