The tube bridge is one of the few remaining covered old wooden bridges in Germany. Since 1535, clean drinking water from the Reinsdorfer and Pöhlauer Grund has been fed into the city by means of pierced tree trunks. Often torn away by floods, this bridge was given its current form in 1790.

A truly great building on the Zwickauer Mulde. Absolutely worth seeing, beautiful display board in front of the building.
