The house's greatest treasure is the world's most comprehensive Schumann collection with more than 4,000 original manuscripts by the romantic artist and his wife, the pianist Clara née Wieck.
In the chamber music hall on the ground floor, music lovers can experience sophisticated concerts. Special exhibitions are regularly presented in the foyer.
