In addition to the post station, there was also a village jug in the building. With the construction of the Lower Silesian-Märkish Railway in the 19th century, the post station lost its importance. From then on, the building was used as a residential building. In 1934, artisans covered the thatched roof with reeds. A comprehensive renovation was carried out in 1991. It is used in the 21st century as a local museum and event space.
