Hiking Highlight
Imposing waterfalls, where you would never suspect. There are three of them. A small one that you can discover on a small circular tour and the two large ones in a row, which you can reach via the arduous 273 steps. It is definitely worth it.

The Scheidegger waterfalls have become a commercialized educational trail with a children's playground. Entry costs € 4.50. You can look at it and read the boards with interest. The circular route is manageable for everyone, no matter how good you are on foot. It only gets nice when you walk upstream directly on the Riedbach towards Alte Zollstraße. There are also waterfalls there, you have to partially cross the river and around it pure nature. Sturdy shoes and surefootedness as well as Komoot or similar are recommended.

The waterfalls and the grounds around it are beautifully situated and worth visiting.
Dogs must (naturally) leash on the entire site. The path to the falls itself is paved with 230 steps. Due to these sometimes very high steps, small dogs may need to be carried. Since the steps consist of two vertical steel bars and a cross-board, attention should be paid to the risk of injury to dogs.
