The Evangelical Lutheran Church on the Rockenhof street of the same name stands on the top of a hill, the entire top of which is covered with buildings for church use. In addition to the church, these include a church district building and a community center.

The church building on the Rockenhof is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays at the time of the weekly market from 10 to 12 o'clock.

After plans for a community center, which presented Walter Ahrendt 1936, one built 1939 only the meetinghouse. In 1950-52 the church and the provost were added.

The clinker-clad reinforced concrete building with asymmetrically added tower, with buttresses and stepped portal as well as semicircular closed altar room refers to historical models.
Spitzbogige "gothic" reinforced concrete trusses structure the three-nave interior, which Bernhard Hirche redesigned in 1990.
A new organ was added in 2002.
