The "Wilhelmshalle" was a popular excursion restaurant on the Hopfenberg with a wonderful view of Lamspringe and Neuhof. The restaurant was built in 1888 and suffered a fire on June 21, 1949. In the picture you can see the wife of the owner Joseph Sauer, who took over and rebuilt the restaurant in 1913.

Today only the stairs, a chimney or vault and foundations remind of the restaurant.
