BC Place is a multi-purpose stadium, opened in 1983. The stadium hosted the 2010 Winter Olympics and 2010 Paralympic Winter Games, as well as several matches of the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup. During the 2026 FIFA World Cup, several matches are planned to be hosted here.
BC Place is home to the Canadian Football League's BC Lions, Major League Soccer's Vancouver Whitecaps FC, the annual Canada Sevens (part of the World Rugby Sevens Series) and the BC Sports Hall of Fame.
