Hiking
The Birds, two sculptures of a pair of sparrows by artist Myfanwy MacLeod, were installed at False Creek Olympic Plaza in April 2010 as part of the Olympic and Paralympic Arts Program. The work attempts to illustrate what can happen when a non-native species is introduced into a new environment and establishes a habitat in an urban space. The birds' size is intended to invert their relationship with humans.
