The way from Scharnitz is long and arduous to walk, especially if, like me, you were traveling alone and with 11 kilos of luggage.. On my 1st stage I passed here, very nice view of the valley, but still a little walk to the Karwendelhaus. The red arrow is supposed to show where the hut is located...I walked the Karwendelhöhenweg but with the extra variant over the Birkarspitze.
We recommend.
