The impressive Hakberg Victory Column commemorates the victorious battle of Fehrbellin, which the Brandenburg Elector Friedrich Wilhelm led against the Swedes in 1675. The monument stands on a hill from which you have a nice view of the area.

The 36 meter high monument commemorates the victorious battle of Brandenburg Elector Friedrich Wilhelm against the Swedes at Fehrbellin on June 18, 1675. This earned him the nickname "the Great". The Victory Column stands where the Brandenburg gun emplacement was during the battle.
