Linumhorster Brücke

In the middle of nowhere is this romantic old bridge. The road from here to Flatow is really excellent. The road from here to Wustrau is the very WORST I have ever been on – in 40 years of hiking and riding!

Something on the edge is not so bad

Now without traffic, because locked-rust eats slowly but surely through. Hopefully for a long time open to cyclists and pedestrians.

I always find it exciting to see how buildings used to be, etc. were built. Here the carriers have been connected by riveting. 🤩

The pictures say something else, but the beautiful old bridge in the middle of the green is (for me) also interesting! 🤩

The way there is very exhausting because of the bad cobbled street, which is completely over

On the way to Netzeband pretty much the middle of the track. After almost 35 km an ideal place to take a short break.

Bridge over the old Rhin now closed to traffic. Therefore, a quiet low-traffic cycling from Flatow via Wustrau to Neuruppin possible.

To the north after the bridge you can expect the finest cobblestones and the other direction a good paved road.

Really nice bridge, in a quiet area, no car comes here. Only the cobblestones are a bit annoying when you are cycling. But the great nature all around makes up for all the effort.
