Drei Annen Hohne is a village in the Harz Mountains. It belongs to Wernigerode in the Harz district of Saxony-Anhalt.
During the construction of the Harzquerbahn and Brockenbahn, a stopping point was set up for the Hohne forester's lodge and the Graflich-Stolbergische Chaussee and later Gasthaus Drei Annen, which was initially called Signalficht. After the spruce at the intersection of Hagenstrasse and Chaussee Elbingerode-Ilsenburg fell victim to the bad weather, the station was given the name Drei-Annen-Hohne, which in the first years of the 20th century also applied to the small settlement of the same name at the train station passed to today's hotel “Kräuterhof”.

From May to October, Drei Annen Hohne station provides an electric boarding aid (lifting device), with the help of which our employees assist with getting in and out of the historic HSB cars.
The vast majority of steam trains to Brocken carries so-called Traglastenwagen. These are normal passenger cars, which offer a wider door and in the car interior next to the actual seats also space for about 4 wheelchairs. Only at this car also the respective lifting device is used.
Corresponding parking spaces and sanitary facilities are located in the immediate vicinity of our train station (see map).
We depend on your support and would like to ask you to contact our customer service in good time (no later than three working days) before departure. Please use our registration form for this.
Please note that starting from Drei Annen Hohne, only journeys with destination chunks are possible. Entrances and exits between the start and finish stations are unfortunately not possible for operational reasons.
The use of train toilets is unfortunately not possible for guests in wheelchairs.
In the winter months, we advise against a ride in a wheelchair due to the adverse weather conditions on the Brocken.(Source: hsb-wr.de)
