During the construction of the Harzquerbahn and Brockenbahn, a common stopping point was set up for the Hohne forester's house and the Count's Stobergisch Chaussee and later Drei Annen inn, which was initially called Signalfichte. After the spruce tree at the intersection of Hagenstraße and the Elbingerode–Ilsenburg road fell victim to the bad weather, the train station was given the name Drei-Annen-Hohne, which in the first years of the 20th century also referred to the small settlement of the same name at the train station became today’s “Kräuterhof” hotel.

The puffing Brockenbahn stops here on its way to the highest peak in northern Germany. There are two larger paid parking spaces, making Drei Annen Hohne a good starting point for various hikes, for example to the Hohnekamm or towards the Brocken.

For smaller hikers, the numerous adventure stations and the dandelion path are exciting and the Hohnehof is right nearby where you can stop off. You will also find the “Kräuterhof” hotel and a goulash cannon station here.
